Recognise this word: hELlo ?
It says ‘hello’ but it looks rather odd. That’s because there is an unusual mix of capital and lowercase letters. When you’re writing music notes, you have to know stem rules so that musicians can understand what you’re writing. This video explains when stems should point up, down or when it doesn’t matter.
