Passing grade 5 music theory is, for many students, the main reason why they started studying music theory in the first place. At Music Theory Videos we’re not happy with you just passing; we want you to pass grade 5 music theory with flying colours!
In the exam you will be expected to understand all of the topics listed on this page. Of course, you will also be expected to understand all of the topics studied at grades 1, 2, 3 & 4 as many Grade 5 music theory topics build on the knowledge already learnt at these lower grades. Therefore, have a look at the grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 and grade 4 pages first if you need to.
